A Nigerian scholar, Professor Abdulrazzaq Abdulmajeed Alaro, has been named among the top 10 most outstanding alumni of the Islamic University, Madinah.

The professor of Islamic Law at the University of Ilorin, was honoured alongside nine others on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Islamic University of Madinah’s 58th graduation ceremony, according to Nigerian Skecth.

The award was presented by the governor of Madinah, His Highness Faisal Bin Salman Abdulazeez Sale Su’ud in the presence of the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mamduh Bn Thanyan Aal Su’ud, as part of the activities to mark the 58th convocation ceremony of the institution.

No fewer than 1,742 students from different countries, including Nigeria were among the fresh graduates celebrated during the end of the 1443AH academic year ceremony, where Prof. Alaro received the Award of Excellence as one of the top 10 Most Outstanding Alumni of the institution since its establishment in 1961.
